My philosophy with Tarot and providing readings may be different from how others practice or what others may believe. First of all, I don’t mix tarot with astrology – adding this information can make readings all the more confusing. Secondly, I do not consider myself to be a witch, practitioner of the occult, a psychic, or any other mystical or divine being. I don’t have a crystal ball or claim to know the future.

But I do believe there is more to life than just our surface physical existence – what some call ‘spirit’ or universal energy. This energy can be tapped into by anyone with focused intention and the practice of “listening” – also known as intuition.

The definition of intuition is: “the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning; or a thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.”

Tarot for me is a practice of intention, intuition and insight. We all tap into that energy now and again. The next time you hesitate at a green light as another driver speeds through the intersection – thank your spirit, angel, or intuition.
